Little Letters: Christmas Edition

Dear Christmas lights, I love how much you've popped up all over town. And I love how much Liam loves you. He's found the Christmas tree switch and you better believe you are shining bright all the time (colored lights only please). It's especially funny when they switch from white to colored.

Dear plaid jammies, thank you. Thank you for being so comfortable and so dang Christmasy. I'm never taking you off.

Dear Gilmore Girls, you've given me ALL THE FEELS. I've waited so long to hear those four words and though it seems this is how you should end, I just don't know how I feel about it. Something isn't sitting well. TV shows, man. Emotional roller coaster.

Dear Liam, YOU ARE A CHRISTMAS LOVER! My work is done. Thank you for being my partner for Christmas ornaments DIYs, belting carols, and for sitting and staring at the Christmas tree. Never grow out of this.

$75 Pink Blush Giveaway

Top: Pink Blush c/o | Jeans: Target | Boots: Nordstrom | Sunnies: Vans | Lipstick: Nars Heatwave | Necklace: Stella&Dot c/o

Happy Thursday friends! This has been a busy week getting ready for Halloween festivities and it feels like Thursday was Tuesday. Though I can't complain when a work week involves building a balloon cactus and a covered wagon, I'm still ready for a little R&R this weekend. And candy. Always candy.

My obsession with Pink Blush continues. I have my eye on plaid maternity clothes this Fall and I love that this top is long enough to wear with leggings or jeans. As a tall girl, it's hard to find shirts that cover the goods, especially maternity clothes! I love that this one looks layered without all the fuss of keeping everything tucked and in place. Perfect for the growing bump!

If you haven't checked out Pink Blush or Pink Blush Maternity, enter the giveaway below and shop their site. So many cute pieces!

Summer is my favorite season but fall is a close second. The world seems to be a different color. The golden hues, the way the sun touches everything -- it's like a huge giant hug. Even if the temperatures haven't lowered, there's still something in the air that reads fall. Somehow, there's still a crispness.

For our family, fall means staying out a little later because it's finally tolerable to be outside. We step outside a bit more; early evening park trips because the weather is the PERFECT temperature and outings to the pumpkin patch right before bedtime. Life seems slow. We aren't racing to be anywhere; we're simply enjoying the company of each other. But still, it's not so much that I love what we're doing but how we're doing it. Liam is such a sponge these days and me and Thomas tread carefully knowing our every move is being watched. He's become super affectionate these days and I can't help but smile knowing that we must be doing something right. He is quick to forgive, give hugs and kisses, does random cuddles in piles of hay and holds my hand everywhere we go. We're heading into a busy season and I don't want to forget to see everything. You know what I mean? The sweet words, the prayers, the snuggles, the love he has to give--all the good stuff. I don't want to miss any of it.

What does fall look like to you? Warby Parker introduced their Fall 2015 collection recently and it's so good! Best part about this company is for every pair of glasses sold, they donate to someone in need. They have a huge collection of prescription eyeglasses and sunglasses to choose from or if you're a hipster, you can get them non-prescription.

Happy Monday, friends!
