This was the first full week back at work after the holidays. Painful, with a capital P. Work + the polar vortex that has rolled in (otherwise known as winter) makes for a sluggish Krista. I have to actually WEAR jackets as more than just an accessory and opened toed shoes, fa-get about it! I miss having options! #firstworldprobs
You know the difference between an ordinary outfit and a stand out of the crowd outfit? One that catches a person's eye. It's the details, the textures, the silhouette. A monochromatic outfit can be stunning if there are different textures and accessories. My favorite piece of clothing these days are these leather leggings. It's not because they're the most flattering (although they are) or some outrageous print or color. It's the fabric that makes them different and unique. These same pants, in a different material would just be so much less exciting. And it's Friday, soooooooo we all need a little pep in our step!! I don't know what took me so long to get on the leather pant train but I'm now fully on board.
