All morning yesterday I needed to do a little sprucing up to the place. We cleaned out the kitchen, decluttered a bit, and made it look a bit more like Spring around here. First thing that needed to be changed was the mantle. I was inspired by this:

Last night after work we went and bought some chalkboard paint. I revamped a framed cork board by sister bought me (sorry, Jen).
