^^^ Shorts weather means scraped knees
Since changing my work schedule, I have more free time in the afternoon. It's only an extra hour but in that time we've fit in Mexican dinners, sunset walks, a trip to Lowes, and some pretty sweet couch warming. It's important to us that we dedicate time, even just one hour, as a family doing something together.
This week all the trees are blossoming and starting to transition to spring. It's such a short window where flowers are everywhere here so we headed outside in our sandals and shorts.
Liam looked up and found shapes in the clouds (Thomas the train was up there, you know), I picked flowers, and Thomas repeatedly pointed out just how perfect this weather is, dude.
As Liam and Daddy were running zig zags Liam yelled, FAMILY TIME.
The older he gets, I hope he cherishes this extra hour just as much as I do.
