Hair is not something I'm lacking. I have course, wavy hair and a l o t of it. But as a braid lover, I wish I had more length. While short hair works for braids, I'm obsessed with how dramatic a long braid can look. I'd never tried hair extensions before but I was thinking about it when I was approached by the Irresistible Me team and the timing was perfect.
While I wanted length, I didn't want the hair extensions to be too over dramatic. Depending on your budget, they offer Signature Weft, Silky Touch, Royal Remy, Volume Vixen and even ponytails. I chose the Royal Remy 20 inch set because it was longer than my natural hair but not too obvious.
Next choose your color. For me, that was the easiest part. I knew I would need the lightest color but they offer 14 different shades. Don't worry if you can't find your exact shade; the extensions are real hair so they can be dyed. Mine just happened to be a perfect match. :)
Decide on the length you want. Like I said, I didn't want anything too dramatic so I went with the 20 inch and depending on the length, choose the grams (the amount you're getting).
It came with 20 pieces or wefts: 1 piece of 4 clips, 2 pieces of 3 clips, 5 pieces of 2 clips, and 2 pieces of 1 clip. That's an insane amount of hair, if you're wondering.
They are super easy to clip in. I usually wear 4 wefts in my hair at a time, depending on the hair style. I clip a 3 piece weft at the bottom of my hair, layering up to the big daddy, the four piece weft. Then I'll put a 1 clip weft on each side of my head, slightly above my ears. Tip: don't go too high up on your head otherwise the clips will be noticeable, especially if you have thin hair. Thick hair is a bit more forgiving.
Guys, true story. I'm obsessed with these hair extensions. They are so natural looking and they give me total Victoria Secret model hair.
