Two things:
Sometimes spring in Texas really can be pretty when you're having a lot of rain. Everything that was once dead is now turning a vibrant shade of green and it's actually really really pretty. WHY is everything the same color in the winter? Buildings are brown. Houses are brick, aka brown. Grass and plants are brown. So ugly. Growing up in Monterey, CA really spoils your standard of beauty. But the drive to work in the mornings can be relaxing and peaceful, despite the traffic, with green grass, flowers blossoming on trees, and long horns grazing in open fields.
The DOWN side to this beauty is the humidity. Guys, my hair doesn't know what to do. False. It knows to frizz. My skin is soft which is a lovely added effect but....my hair!! Long live the top knot trend!
On an unrelated note: how cute is Liam? Potty training sure wasn't effective this past weekend but he sure was cute trying! Although, it might be wearing off on him because he was getting ready for bed last night and he chose to go sit on the potty without even being prompted. To be fair, his diaper and pants were on but baby steps!
