Cleaning day

Today was a cleaning day. I tackled the guest room/office and was finally able to get things to look tolerable. Ha. Still have things to do in there but I feel like I can finally create things and be inspired. So good.

In the process of cleaning, I found this shirt.

 Carrying on, I hung up some favorite pictures simply above the desk. I love looking at them and being reminded of their memories.

And in the kitchen, there are some new thrifted finds.

I was cleaning out the guest bedroom and came across some special gems--awards to Thomas during his time in the Army. Not sure why he had them stuffed in a box but I'm excited to display them proudly in our home.

I love surprises
